Our vision for all adults in North East Lincolnshire is that they will have healthy and independent lives with easy access to joined up advice and support which will help them to help themselves.   We have recently created a new Assistant Director post to help us make this vision a reality as well as play a lead role in our response to the forthcoming reform agenda highlighted in the White Paper.

At North East Lincolnshire we already have extremely positive relationships with NHS colleagues and highly integrated structures.  We also have three Community Interest Companies which deliver social work services within our communities.  They are Navigo https://navigocare.co.uk/  (mental health), Focus https://www.focusadultsocialwork.co.uk/  (core social work service), and Care Plus Group https://www.careplusgroup.org/  (community health, reablement and rehab).  So, using a mixture of matrix management, influencing skills and positive partnership working, our new AD will work with a broad range of organisations to bring about real change.  

We are therefore seeking a motivated individual with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build, manage and develop effective working relationships.  You will inspire those around you, driving the transformation of services and empowering citizens and communities. You will bring proven experience of strategic leadership and consistent achievement in a health or social care environment, with an understanding of commissioning as well as integrated working.
